This policy explains what data we collect on teletil.com, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it. We wrote it in plain language because we want you to understand it, not just accept it.
1. Who we are
Teletil helps brands show up in the answers of AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. We are the controller of the data collected on this site. For anything privacy-related, write to us at info@teletil.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and run the service:
- Contact form: your name, your email and whatever you tell us in the message. It lands in our inbox at info@teletil.com.
- Platform account: if you start the free trial or subscribe, we store your name, your email and the brand or website you want to monitor, along with the data the platform generates for your account.
- Site usage data: we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get visited, from what kind of device and from which country. This data is aggregated; we don’t use it to identify you.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.
We don’t ask for or process special categories of data, and we don’t buy data from third parties.
3. What we use your data for
- Replying to you when you write to us. Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form.
- Providing the service and managing your account and billing. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Improving the site based on aggregated usage statistics. Legal basis: your consent.
- Protecting the site against abuse and technical failures. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.
We don’t use your data for third-party advertising, and we don’t sell it to anyone.
4. Cookies and local storage
- Google Analytics 4 uses cookies (such as
_ga) to tell visits and sessions apart. - Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, we save your choice in your browser’s local storage. That data never leaves your device.
- Language: the site may store your language preference to show you the right version.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site keeps working without them.
5. Who we share data with
Nobody who wants to buy it. We share data only with the providers that help us operate:
- Hosting: SiteGround, where the site is hosted.
- Analytics: Google (Google Analytics 4).
These providers process data under our instructions and their own data-protection commitments. We may also share data if a law or an authority requires us to.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, they rely on recognized legal mechanisms, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
- Contact messages: while the conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case we pick it up again.
- Account data: while your account is active. If you close it, we delete or anonymize the data, except what we must keep for legal or tax obligations.
- Analytics data: according to the retention periods configured in Google Analytics.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we process it, object to the processing, take it to another provider, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@teletil.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can, always within the legal deadline.
If you believe we’re not handling your data properly, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Spain that’s the AEPD; in Brazil, the ANPD.
9. Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we limit data access to the people who need it to do their job. No system is bulletproof, but if we detect a breach that affects you, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
10. Children
Our service is aimed at businesses and professionals, not minors. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll publish the new version here with its update date. If the change is significant and you have an account with us, we’ll let you know.
